마에다는 지난시즌의 모습을 보여주지 못하는데 근본적으로 슬라이더의 위력이 지난시즌보다 좋지 못하다.
이는 약점인 장타 허용으로 연결되는 모습이다.
제구의 안정감은 충분히 기대를 가져 볼 수 있을것으로 보이고 시애틀을 처음 상대한다는점도 이점이 될 가능성은 높아보인다.
선발투수들이 불안 요소를 가지고있는 경기이지만 최근 미네소타의 홈런페이스를 감안한다면 미네소타가 결국 차이를 만들어낼 가능성이 높아보인다.
