막판 스퍼트를 올리고 있는 롯데는 애런 윌커슨(4승 2패 2.14) 카드로 4연승에 도전한다. 10일 NC 원정에서 6이닝 3실점의 투구로 패배를 당한 윌커슨은 시간이 갈수록 KBO의 투수들에게 파훼를 당하고 있는 중이다. 그래도 홈이라는 점을 고려한다면 QS 이상은 충분히 기대할수 있을듯. 일요일 경기에서 와이드너를 완파하면서 홈런 2발 포함 7점을 득점한 롯데의 타선은 혼자서 2홈런 5타점을 올린 안치홍이 승리를 이끌었다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 홈 경기의 타격 역시 기대를 해볼 여지가 많은 편. 그러나 3이닝동안 2실점을 허용한 불펜은 서서히 진승현에게서 문제가 터지고 있다.
기나긴 연패가 이어지고 있는 키움은 김선기(1승 2패 6.07)가 연패 저지를 위해 마운드에 오른다. 8일 한화와 홈 경기에서 5이닝 4실점의 부진한 투구를 보여준 김선기는 투구의 기복이 심한 문제를 고치지 못하는 중이다. 특히 원정에서 확실한 약점이 있다는 점이 이번 경기에서도 발목을 잡을 듯. 금요일 경기에서 반즈와 최준용 상대로 4점을 득점한 키움의 타선은 원정 경기 타격 자체는 나쁘지 않은 편. 그러나 롯데의 불펜 상대로 확실한 타격을 보여주지 못한게 아쉽다. 결정적 순간 흔들리는 불펜은 남은 시즌 내내 문제가 될 것이다.
3연승과 8연패. 현 시점에서 키움의 최하위는 확정적이고 아직 롯데의 가을 야구 도전은 끝나지 않았다. 최근의 윌커슨을 고려한다면 일단 기대치는 QS가 될 가능성이 높은 편. 그렇지만 원정의 김선기는 상당히 신뢰가 힘든 투수임을 부정할수 없고 불펜전으로 가면 여러모로 키움이 불리하다. 선발에서 앞선 롯데가 승리에 가까이 있다.
