선발 엘리아스(3승 2패 4.00)는 직전 삼성과의 경기에서 5이닝 9피안타 1K 5사사구 6실점을 기록했다. 이날 경기초반 잘 버텨내다가 5회 3볼넷, 1사구, 2피안타를 허용하며 무너졌다는 점이 상당히 아쉬웠던 부분! 그래도 앞선 경기들에서 패스트볼과 커브의 힘이 나쁘지 않았고 이날 4회까지는 잘 버텨낸 바 있는만큼 오늘 준수한 피칭을 기대해봐도 좋겠다. 또한 오늘 상대 키움타선을 처음만난다는 점 역시 긍정적으로 작용할 전망이다. 그리고 오늘 불펜운영은 문제없을 전망이다.

어제 경기 키움선발 후라도가 6회 2사까지 1피안타만을 허용하며 잘 버티고 있었지만 2사 이후 홈런2개를 허용하는 등 4실점으로 빅이닝을 허용하고 말았다. 반면 SSG선발 김광현은 7.2이닝 1실점 호투! 선발 경쟁에서 우위를 점한 SSG가 9회초에도 빅이닝을 만들면서 7-3 승리를 기록했다.
그리고 오늘 2차전이 펼쳐지게 되는데 승리는 SSG가 기록할 것으로 예상된다. 물론 SSG선발 엘리아스가 직전경기 부진한 모습을 보여주긴 했지만 5회만 부진했을뿐 1~4회는 안정적인 피칭을 보여줬기 때문에 오늘 안정적인 피칭을 기대해볼만한 상황!
