오비에도는 3경기 연속 5실점 이상하며 부진했지만 그 이후 5경기에서는 2차례의 QS를 비롯해 3차례나 1실점 경기를 했다. 여전히 25세의 젊은 투수로 컨트롤 기복이 있긴 하지만 이번 시즌 구위로 삼진을 잡아내는 모습은 인상적이다. 유망주의 껍질을 깨버리고 이제 솔리드한 선발로 자리를 잡고 있다. 메츠 상대로는 지난 시즌 2경기에서 1패 11.12의 방어율로 부진했다.
센가는 직전 경기에서 토론토 상대로 3이닝을 버티지 못하고 강판당했다. 커리어 최다 타이인 5개의 볼넷을 내주며 제구가 흔들렸던 것이 부진의 원인이었다. 그러나, 이번 시즌 메츠 선발진에서 현재까지 가장 좋은 성적을 내는 투수다. 벌랜더와 카라스코, 셔저등이 부진한 것과 달리 5승을 챙겼고 이닝당 삼진을 1.3개나 잡아내고 있다.
메츠의 승리를 본다. 토요일 경기에서 초반부터 폭발한 상대 타선을 막지 못하고 대패한 메츠지만 센가는 안정적으로 5이닝을 책임질 수 있는 투수다. 볼넷 허용 문제가 있더라도 90마일 후반의 속구와 유령 포크볼로 삼진을 잡아낼 수 있다. 린도어가 깨어난 메츠 타선의 득점 지원도 기대되기에 메츠가 토요일 패배를 리벤지할 것이다.
메츠의 다득점 속에 오버가 유력하다.
